An exhibition of 30 works from the Canon Photo Collection in memory of photographer Kojo Tanaka, who passed away on May 6th. Tanaka was a leading wildlife photographer who went freelance in 1953. His large-scale works capturing animals around the world in their natural states include a mother orangutan gazing loving at her child, lions relaxing with their cubs, and other photographs evoking a warm gaze. Canon Open Gallery 2 presents works by other animal photographers who studied under Tanaka: Shin Yoshiko, Shogo Asao, and Takayuki Maekawa.
