This event has ended.

Yuko Noguchi started photography in her 20s, based on a variety of experiences with visual expression. In 2012, after experiencing the Great Tohoku Earthquake, she would decide to move out of Tokyo to go back to her hometown in Oita. Later in the time, her photographic talent was discovered by the co-founder of the magazine Purple, Elein Fleiss, who later invited Noguchi to join her online journal, Les Chroniques Purple. Still today Noguchi lives and works in the great nature of Oita, taking pictures of the landscape and the people surrounding her environment. Presented as the photographer’s first solo exhibition in Tokyo, this show brings together her photography series showing the winter scenes in and around Oita and the Kyushu area, in addition to a slideshow about the changing seasons there.
