Mari Katayama
Mari Katayama is a young artist working across numerous fields including contemporary art, music, education and writing. Born with a disease of the legs, at the age of nine both of her legs were amputated. Drawing on this experience Katayama has developed works such as the “High Heel Project”, a series of portraits and works in paper, cloth and oils.
