Beate Müller
Most of the subjects for Beate Müller’s photographic works are ordinary objects and scenes can be seen in our daily lives. Passages, hedgerows, parks, gardens, windows of automobiles, trains and houses are her favorites. Also the quiet and deserted scenery reflected on those windows and the surface of puddles, changing every moment according to weather and light. Instead of carefully planning her shots, she rather cuts off decisive scenes she encounters by chance as snapshots.

Photography is for her like painting for painter, just a medium to indicate her vision that she is searching in the real world. She is always prepared for the moment when her vision and reality shall appear, carefully looking around her everyday life. At certain time and at certain place, in the qualities of materials, in those constructions and compositions, in colors and light, and in those combinations, they appear and she definitely captures them without fail.
