Another project coinciding with but separate from this year’s MOT Annual “Loose Lips Save Ships” exhibition centers on interviews in article form. Artists’ Guild members raise questions about “self-restraint” not only in contemporary art but a range of other fields as well.

As society becomes increasingly restrictive, how can artists and other expressive people – and those who support them – break out of the confines of self-restraint and self-censorship? Welcoming interviewee Keisuke Oka of the Arimaston building project, this talk tackling these issues includes interview organizers Koki Tanaka and Yuki Kageyama, Artists’ Guild members Hikaru Fujii and Yuki Okumura, and Natsuko Odate of Arts Commons Tokyo. (In Japanese).
