“The Spell of Primary Colors: Polychrome Figures from Papua New Guinea” is the fourth installation at the Intermediatheque of “Quai Branly Tokyo”, organized with the Musée du Quai Branly. On display are five vividly colored wooden sculptures from Papua New Guinea, used for yam ceremonies. In this long-term loan bringing together the two institutions, the Musée du Quai Branly selects items from its prestigious collections.
