This exhibition will explore the charm of the folk art movement by showcasing works by Yanagi Soetsu, Bernard Leach, Kanjiro Kawai, Shoji Hamada, Keisuke Serizawa and Shikoh Munakata. There will also be works by other artists such as Tatsuaki Kuroda and Shigeo Suzuki included. Furthermore, Soetsu’s books and manuscripts, as well as other related books, will be on display, providing a thorough introduction to the work of these artists inspired by folk beauty.
