Hiroyuki Nisougi
Displaying all the works from Hiroyuki Nisougi’s “Signed Posters” series. For these works, he placed digital images created on a computer-based painting program on canvas and plastic sheets before adding an artist signature to them. Moving freely between digital and analog mediums, in this latest series sampling all of Nisougi’s talents the signature becomes the picture and the picture becomes the signature. Several panel and canvas works, including some more than two meters in size, are on display.
The show’s opening event will feature a live painting and a performance by a special guest. For the closing, Nisougi will bring his band back together for one night only. There will also be guerilla performances and other events throughout the exhibition.
