Hideaki Idetsuki, Takashi Kuribayashi, Asami Yoshiga
This exhibition focuses on three artists, Hideaki Idetsuki, Takashi Kuribayashi, and Asami Yoshiga, who studied Nihonga at Musashino Art University and whose three-dimensional or spatial works go beyond the Nihonga framework. Treating their works as “Painting Beyond the Picture Plane,” it explores the nature of these artists’ new works, filled with new perceptions of the landscape, nature, and decorative designs, exploring creative possibilities that transcend the conventional prescriptions of their medium.
