Noriyuki Kiguchi
The first exhibition for the artist, dramatist, and architect Noriyuki Kiguchi, leader of Akumanoshirushi, a performance troupe known for its Carry-in Project designing and building large structures brought into small spaces as mechanisms of theatre. Here he explores notions of theater and spectacle, examining the ideas behind festivals, rites, and other performances once closely linked to society and politics. He will create works in a public display during the first half of the exhibition (through mid-June), , followed by performances from July 26th.
