“Tuesday, adj.” is a two man show by HiRaKu and Jesse Freeman. The artists will tell the story of an ordinary winter Tuesday visually through various media. On the first floor, Jesse will narrate a story through the composition, color, and form of seven ikebana (flower arrangement) works. Photographs of these seven flower arrangements taken by HiRaKu will explore the light, shadow, and color of each. On the second floor, both artists will present a short film that invites viewers to inhabit the seven moments described in the story. It is with this that the word “Tuesday” is reduced to an adjective used to describe the small, ordinary moments we miss in our everyday routines.
