This exhibition introduces two painters who played an active part in the Netherlands Golden Age with 60 works by Vermeer and Rembrandt from museums including the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, the London National Gallery, and State Museum of Amsterdam. The masterpieces “Woman with a Water Jug” by Vermeer and “Verona” by Rembrandt are shown in Japan for the first time.
