Akiko Higashimura
Manga artist Akiko Higashimura has created series on subjects as diverse as fashion, parenting, thirty-something life, geeky girls, show business, history, and detective stories for Japan’s three major publishers: Kodansha, Shueisha, and Shogakukan. This four-part exhibition introduces original illustrations from her hit titles while demonstrating her outstanding abilities as a producer opening the doors and leading the way for new talent.
