As Toru Ogasawara confronts a piece of art work very often he is absorbed by it without thinking. He might have a certain image in his mind to begin with but more often than not this turns out to be completely different. Drawing upon multiple images and memories, he repeats the process of drawing and erasing until a final piece becomes finished.
