Hiroshi Takenaka
Hiroshi Takenaka is a leading figure in Japanese porcelain. With the particular influence of Joseon porcelain, and drawing on the techniques of ancient ceramics, his works are of a distinct order, whilst holding a sense of tension, gaining wide acclaim for their originality and skillful execution. His tea bowls in Bizen, Shigaraki and painted glaze are also most popular. Here he presents a selection of 10 works including porcelain urns and stationary.
