The National Film Center screens 12 international films with Japanese subtitles from its collection, including early talkies and other works from the 1930s and the WWII era through Cold War films of the 1950s. Soviet Realist films, Post-War Chinese films, experimental Polish films, Argentinian films screened in Japan for the first time, and others from France, Asia, South America are featured.
