Pocorart National Open Call Exhibition Vol. 6

3331 Arts Chiyoda
Finished
Where does artwork come from? Where is it going?

The Pocorart National Open Call Exhibition was initiated in 2011 as a place for free expression for those with and without disabilities, and artists in general. Since its creation, Pocorart has presented artworks born from this creative core, and has carried the role of a departure point linked to a wider society. We hope that the artwork category of the exhibition is an opportunity to consider how we value artwork in relation to society.
A series of workshops have been selected through open call, including projects that propose communication through creative actions (draw, make, touch, hear, feel) and activities stemming from the expressive activities of the artists. We welcome you to encounter the expressions and experiences unique to Pocorart.

What is “Pocorart”?
“Place of Core + Relation Art”. The name reflects the desire to create a “core” where art and people may interact, representing those with and without disability and involving artists of different backgrounds, experiences, and age.
