“Mt.Fuji, an Oasis of Life” will present 25 works by Mikio Hasui, centered around images that appeared in the 2017 Canon Marketing Japan Calendar, “Symbiosis with Nature” series, vol 31. Though Hasui is a photographer that works primarily in global advertising, this exhibition will present his photographs of Mt. Fuji, where he has seized the beauty of this symbolic mountain with a fresh style of expression. The photographs of Fuji’s water and its circulation capture mysterious shapes that weave through the fog and snow. The photographs will be printed on Canon’s large format “imagePROGRAF” printer.
