Takemi Mori

Takemi Mori is known for his abstract, geometric sculptural forms and in recent years has taken to using materials of the everyday, usually available at the hundred yen shop. From straws, to rubber bands, to tape and cotton buds, such familiar objects provide endless inspiration for Mori who brings them to surprising transformations. The imaginative power of his creations can be encountered here in an exhibition of work produced around the key actions of “stick”, “pierce” and “cover”.
