Masahiko Ichino
Masahiko Ichino was born and raised in a family of Tanba ceramic experts and was made the youngest recipient of the Japan Ceramics Excellence Award. Drawing on the long tradition of techniques and spirit of Tanba ceramics he combines these with contemporary forms and through a selection of ten pieces here brings expression to the energy of nature with a sense of warmth and humor.
