Masaki Hirose
Masaki Hirose joined an artist in residence program in Mexico City last spring, undertaking research upon succulent plants and developing this into a new body of work. Things sensed in Mexico and that sensed within daily life in Japan. Physiological desire. The real world and the world of imagination fuse and give fruit to art work. This show exhibits new paintings, documentary photos of performance art and video. The exhibition will also be accompanied by collaborations with musicians and a solo performance.
