Camille Boitel “L’hommedeHus”

Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre
Finished

Artists

Camille Boitel
Notorious in France for his theatrical “Contemporary circus” based productions, enfant terrible Camille Boitel returns to the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre after two years with L’homme de Hus. Premiered in 2003, this legendary unrepeatable performance transcends dance, contemporary circus, acrobatics, and art itself. While absurd in the manner of caricature or silent cinema, L’homme de Hus ultimately transports its spectators to the lofty world of poetic sentiment.
