Tadashi Aono experiences fresh breaths of life just by touching pieces of iron he encounters along the banks of the Tama River, near his home, and those of the Yoshino River, where he was born. At his first solo show in two years, Aono presents his popular kiln and draft furnace-created works, including beautifully rusted flower vases, tea sets like something kind bandit samurai might have used, and recent sculptures.
