Since the 80s Kiyoshi Kawashima has enjoyed wide international success joing the Asian Cultural Council program in the US, featuring work at PS1, Folk Art and Traditions Museum, Rome and Dusseldorf Museum of Art, and continues to work at the forefront of Japanese sculpture. Working with iron, lead, wood and plaster he constructs space through a unique vocabulary. In a continuation of this August’s exhibition “Drawing Part 1,” he now presents some 20 drawings from recent years.
