This event has ended.
Kamata_Soko, located on the Keihin Keikyu Line, presents train-themed works by three artists. Lighting effects artist Taira Ichikawa manipulates light sources and shadows in his sculptural space installations. Daisaku Ozu interprets train windows as media and material on the screen, highlighting the necessity of film as an interval between light and screen. Shunzo Seo’s “Film Display” is a rare work of experimental cinema incorporating timeless techniques and humor directed at contemporary artists.
