Artists

Hiroshi Ema
Hiroshi Ema uses a 12-meter-deep mountainside kiln in Nagano Prefecture to create yakishime unglazed, high temperature-fired ceramics using red, black, and white soil from the Shinshu region. These distinctively shaped flower vases, tea bowls, and sake cups are on display in Ema’s first solo show in three years.
