Peter Burr “+ Peter Burr: Art & Animation” Film Screening & Lecture

Hara Museum of Contemporary Art (Tokyo)
Finished

Artists

Peter Burr
There is beauty, as well as something a little scary, in the computer animations and installations of Brooklyn-born creator Peter Burr, who has attracted growing attention for his work presented at SFMoMA, Documenta, White Chapel Gallery and in other spaces. Viewers fly through dense landscapes that blink, shimmer and appear to breathe; maze-like worlds that seem never ending and forever changing, where concepts such as morality, heroes and villains do not exist. At this event, Burr will present five representative works and give a lecture and post-screening talk.
