What we saw following the 3.11 earthquake and tsunami was people in Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima following creative principles in their efforts to work towards reconstruction and maintain their sense of purpose under the harsh circumstances. The voices of local leaders taking it upon themselves to rebuild their towns, local culture and day-to-day life echo across the passage of time. This event will present videos that give a tangible voice to these individuals, who the filmmakers have been meeting with since 2011.
