Masanori Ikeda

Roughly six years have passed since Masanori Ikeda held his exhibition “Double Nature” in 2011, curated by Atsuki Kikuchi. Since then, Ikeda has continued to explore his view of “nature” in his photographic works produced for exhibitions and photo books. This event marks the first ever large-scale solo exhibition of his photography, introducing a range of his latest pieces too. A three-dimensional work titled “Camera,” which is a man-powered mobile sauna based on a camera motif that has been produced specially for this exhibition will also be presented.
The original meaning of the word “camera” is “small room,” and at this venue you can enjoy views seen from the window of a small room - the sauna room. Approximately 40 works will be presented in total.
