Babu became obsessed with street culture from a young age, developing his unique sense through encounters with different forms of free expression he saw on the streets along the way. He creates one-off art pieces by customizing skateboards in a playful, learning what work through a continuous process of trail and error. Here you can see an array of new skateboard works as well as collages, three-dimensional works comprised of disused objects, and unfinished works by unknown artists that have been “finished” by Babu.
