Red Room is a two-day performance held once every two months in Art Lounge, the stone entrance area of the Yokohama Creative City Center built in 1929. Red Room #1 presents artwork and a light display by Kyota Takahashi and Reiko Kawaguchi, performances by the drag queens Madam Red: Fransoir Al Dente and Red Girl: Chanja Semolina, music written specifically for the event by Lala – Toru Yamanaka, and dramaturgy by the essayist Ame Deguchi. The bar will offer original Red Room drinks.
