This event has ended.
“Dozaemon” is a play-on-words that refers to a drowned body. Wide use of the term can be traced back to a sumo wrestler from the Edo period (1603-1868), who was said to have a body similar to that of a drowned person. It lives on today through a manga series that has been popular since the Showa era (1926-1989). Here Mitsuhiro Okamoto presents works that draw on this series commonly known now as “Doraemon.”
