Artists

Yoshikatsu Tamekane
Yoshikatsu Tamekane’s woodblock prints are contemporary expressions of Japanese beauty. Applying new techniques to traditional Japanese woodblock printing, Tamekane has for many years been attempting to recreate a Japanese sense of beauty within abstract art. He sees his work as “giving shape to love, music, and other things that give people the courage to live, with an understanding of ‘journeys’ as life.” Twenty-five new and previous works are on display at his second exhibition at B-gallery.
