Speed Flat is an industrial research group investigating the quickest ways to create things. Taking inspiration from production methods, processes, and themes, this project geared toward the future of design continues to conduct developmental research with groups including Kanazawa College of Art, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tama Art University, and Hosei University. In this exhibition, each of these groups presents designs offering food for thought about a future of creation leading toward a “new industrial revolution.”
