The Pandora’s Box: Finding the Wondrous in the Geidai Collection

The University Art Museum - Tokyo University of the Arts
Finished
This special exhibition commemorating 130th anniversary of Tokyo University of the Arts features items from the university’s extensive collection dating back to its founding. In addition to National Treasures and Important Cultural properties, works used for art education materials, extremely rare items, student graduation projects, student and faculty donations, and other examples of painting, sculpture, photography, and more introduce the breath, depth, and diversity of the collection. Research from recent years also sheds new light on the collection.
