Photo Group Ibuki is formed of members dotted throughout Japan, reaching as far as Hokkaido and Kyushu. With the name,”ibuki,” translating as “breath of life,” this group focuses on capturing the beauty of Japan’s changing seasons using large- and medium-format cameras with film negatives. In order to ensure they express the deep qualities of analogue film, established photographers are invited to led workshops for the members each month.
