Le Studio is a 40-seater private cinema located on the 10th floor of Maison Hermès Ginza. The 2017 film program is organized around the theme, “Le Sense du Objet,” and the title that will screen throughout May is mystery feature “The Best Offer.”

Virgil Oldman is a brilliant art expert with an unerring eye who appraises artworks around the world. One day a collection appraisal request from a wealthy household arrives. When he arrives at the mansion he finds the client to be a mysterious young woman who refuses to show herself in person and keeps making dubious excuses. Virgil is suspicious, but on the floor of the stately home he finds parts of a work of art, which will be a historic find if genuine. With a score by master film composer Ennio Morricone, this gripping mystery from the great Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore is intelligent, exciting and steeped in perplexing riddles.
