The 24th edition of the annual jazz festival “Yokohama Jazz Promenade” will be held this October in Yokohama, the Japanese city known for it’s strong relationship with Jazz. In the lead up to the event, this exhibition will present a number of works by Koichiro Tokumochi, who depicts many of the world’s most loved jazz musicians. The show spanning three floors centers on Tokumochi’s “Wire Game” works and promises to display a colorful variety of other pieces, including illustrations and drawings made in wool. In addition, various figures from film will feature, including movie director Woody Allen and actress Marilyn Monroe.
