A. R. Penck is a key figure in German contemporary art, known for his works incorporating symbols and letters that recall prehistoric cave paintings. Jorg Immendorff was born in 1945 in what was then West Germany, later serving as a professor at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. The two met met in East Berlin in 1977 and began working in collaboration. 16 works by the two artists will be exhibited here.
