Artists

Tengaone
First solo exhibition by highly-skilled Japanese graffiti artist Tengaone. Tengaone started out as a graffiti writer in his teens and is now active as an artist who produces various two-dimensional and three-dimensional works. He is known best for his realistic and grotesque yet comical and lively monsters depicted on walls using spray cans with impressive technique. These monsters are portrayed as “portraits” of all kinds of absurd events that occur in modern society, from war and disasters, to incidents in politics and economics. At the same time, the monsters also represent both the artist and the audience. The first floor of the exhibition will be comprised of past works, and the B1 floor will present his work titled “Fabrication.”
