The 4th in this series of exhibitions brings a spotlight to furniture designed collaboratively by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret to furnish Capitol Complex in Chandigarh, India, which consists of the Palace of Assembly, the Secretariat and the High Court. Masterpieces from the dawn of French modernism in the 1950s designed by those with strong connections to Le Corbusier, such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand and Serge Mouille, will also be introduced. This exhibition aims to present the work of Le Corbusier and Jeanneret in contemporary terms by exhibiting it alongside artworks by contemporary artists such as Donald Judd and Liam Gillick.
