Yasuyoshi Botan “Thaw”

Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya
Finished

Artists

Yasuyoshi Botan
Solo exhibition by Yasuya Budon, an artist who restructures the world of painting according to his own rules and carefully observes the relationships between people and things. The title “Thaw” suggests a new beginning, where what has previously been hidden by the snow can start to be revealed and noticed as the ice melts and finally drains away. TWS Shibuya is scheduled to close at the end of September 2017 so that it can be rebuilt as a new facility managed by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo. This is a chance to celebrate 12 years of exhibitions at this space.
