Shizuka Kusano uses embroidery to express her emotions relating to the joys and sorrows of the day to day. For her, embroidery equates to life and the act of living. Here she presents her own take on embroidered Japanese patterns, approaching the medium of embroidery as a contemporary art form. This exhibition introduces around 200 new works alongside other masterpieces that produced by Kusano to date. Discover Kusano’s unique version of history.
