The Natural History Museum, located in the cultural and educational area of South Kensington in London, is a museum of natural history with some 80 million specimens of animals, plants, fossils, rocks and minerals. Established in 1881, the museum is a leading science research center and a world-class visitor attraction, welcoming more than 5,000,000 people every year. In this exhibition, approximately 370 specimens, including the famous “Archaeopteryx,” will be on exhibit. It will be the first time that these objects have been seen in Japan.
