This exhibition by Chinese photographer Mo Yi, marking his fourth solo event at the gallery, will feature five major series of works: “The Scenery in Red” (1997), “Red Telegraph Pole” (1997), “Red Flash - I am a Dog” (2003), “Takako’s Red Dress - Walking Across Beijing” (2004) and “Lorient with Red Flashlight - About the German Base and Spanish Fortress There” (2007). Aiming to examine the significance of “red” together with viewers, the artist will also present a collection of images from historical incidents, images retrieved from the Internet, and images of daily scenery that relates to “red.”
