This event has ended.

“Inaka no Hana” (Country Flower) is a collaboration by the artists of the Poetic Pastel project and the London-based artist Johanna Tagada. Curated by Tagada in response to the previous exhibition Douceurs de l’imperceptible,” it comprises a dialogue between art and the people and places it involves, raising questions about the political and social aspects of our world. As a group, these artists who have lived various places around the globe express their ideas about “inaka” (rural) life, considering topics such as living in nature and our disposable culture in contemporary society. They invite us to address these issues through the approach of “seeing, remembering, and breathing.”
