Artists

Alain Biltereyst
Belgian-born painter Alain Biltereyst presents around 20 paintings here in his first ever solo exhibition in Japan.
With his experience in graphic design, Biltereyst developed an interest in the cultural and historical background of typography, logos, and public advertising, paying attention to the patterns that appear on the bed of trucks, manhole covers, fence designs, and the logos printed on the tails of airplanes. In his paintings he deconstructs and reassembles all kinds of imagery that can be seen around cities and the suburbs.
