Artists

Manabu Ikeda
Manabu Ikeda creates vast worlds from lines of color pens not even one millimeter in width. He has been recognized internationally with exhibitions in South Korea, Germany, Canada, America, and Russia and in the New York Times “Best of 2011” art and design coverage. Ikeda’s first major solo show introduces nearly all of his oeuvre in 120 works, including his massive new drawing “Rebirth” created during a three-year residency at the Chazen Museum of Art in Wisconsin, items from collections and museums around the world, new sketches, and records from 20 years of artistic practice. Encounter Ikeda’s expansive imagination in vivid detail.
