This exhibition will be held concurrently with Divided Orientation of Space at Tomio Koyama Gallery in Roppongi, introducing Suga’s early work from the 1970s and 1980s, as well as his recent international achievements. It will feature sculptures, drawings, and photographic documentation of his fieldwork from the 1970s and 1980s, a film documenting his work “Activation,” and installation views of his recent solo exhibitions at the Pirelli Foundation’s HangarBicocca in Milan and Dia: Chelsea in New York. This is a rare opportunity to see works from throughout Suga’s artistic career spanning 50 years along with his new pieces.
