Edvard Munch, Kiyoshi Saito
Kiyoshi Saito was a self-taught artist and acquaintance of the Norwegian painter and printmaker Edvard Munch. Identifying with Munch, Saito learned from his use of light and shadow and other techniques. The lithograph “The Sick Child” had a particularly large influence on his art. This exhibition is a pre-event for the autumn anniversary show “Munch x Kiyoshi Saito.”
